At Kirk in the Hills, Adult Christian Education (ACE) is nurtured through a meaningful and transformative relationship with God and one another. Every program is designed to strengthen our sense of belonging and identity. We offer a wide range of Bible studies and classes taught by our members, pastors, and esteemed guest speakers throughout the year. We invite you to come and grow with us in your faith and love for God and one another! Classes and Bible studies are available in-person, virtually, and in hybrid formats. Mission Statement
Adult Christian Education (ACE) at Kirk in the Hills seeks to provide quality education and opportunities for members and friends to deepen their relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. High-quality lectures and Bible studies grounded in Scripture will be provided to enable people to develop an understanding of what it means to be a believer in Christ and how to follow him daily. Various classes and Pilgrimages will enhance this curriculum, providing opportunities to develop deeper relationships between members and friends of the congregation. Adult Christian Education Programs
Dinner Church: Are you hungry? Hungry to learn more from Scripture? Hungry to learn more about Faithful Stewardship? Hungry for social interaction or just plain hungry? Dinner Church will meet these needs and more! Dinner Church programs take place throughout the autumn, winter, and spring on Wednesday evenings. Kirk Pilgrimage: Join our transformative pilgrimage program and embark on a journey of spiritual renewal, personal growth, and friendship. Our meticulously crafted itinerary guides you through sacred sites, lovely landscapes, and historic landmarks, thus providing a profound connection to your faith and heritage. You will return with a renewed sense of purpose.
One Church One Book: Explore the wonders and depths of a good book together as a Kirk family. Each summer, we will read a well-chosen book individually and then gather together to discuss and share.
Bill Robinson Bible Study: Please join us from fall through spring between Sunday morning services in the Upper Room of the Kirk in person or by Zoom
Kyes Weekend: Each year in October, we are blessed with outstanding guest speakers who will share well-planned and thoughtful discussions. It begins on Friday evening and with a special dinner and lecture. Kyes Lectures are made possible by the Kyes Endowment Fund, established in memory of Roger M. Kyes, former Trustee of Kirk in the Hills.

Daily News Good News: During the summer months, the class will review a recent news story through the lens of Scripture and our Christian faith
Lunch & Learn: Discover inner peace and personal growth through our enlightening spiritual lectures. Speakers will guide you on a journey of self-discovery, offering profound insights and practical wisdom for everyday life. Join us to deepen your understanding of spirituality and connect with like-minded community. This occasional event occurs after the 11:00 a.m. service.
