Each fall, the Kirk community gathers to pause, reflect, and renew our shared commitment to God’s work among us. As we embark on Stewardship Season, we’re reminded that giving is not simply about finances—it’s about faith. It’s about the ways we offer our time, talents, and treasures in gratitude for all that God has given. When we worship, serve, and grow together, we become a living expression of the Body of Christ—trusting that God’s Spirit continues to move among us and through us in powerful ways. This year’s theme, “Full Sail Church: The Ships of Faith,” invites us to picture the Kirk as a vessel guided by Christ and propelled by generosity. Over the coming weeks, we’ll explore the “ships” that carry our ministry forward—worship, discipleship, fellowship, citizenship, stewardship, and leadership. Each one helps us chart the course through both calm and choppy waters, reminding us that the same Spirit that filled the sails of the early Church continues to fill ours today. So as we lift our sails together this season, may we do so with faith, gratitude, and joy—trusting that God will steer us toward the future prepared for this community we love.
